1. What this Policy covers

This document describes which cookies and device-storage technologies Orendly uses, for what purpose, how long they last, and how you can control them.

2. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It lets us, for example, remember that you are signed in.

We also use local storage (localStorage) — a browser mechanism that keeps small preferences on your device (such as your chosen theme). EU ePrivacy rules treat such technologies the same as cookies, so we describe them here together.

3. Consent and withdrawal

On your first visit we show an unobtrusive notice at the bottom of the screen. Because the service uses only necessary and functional technologies (and no advertising or analytics), you can accept them or choose "Necessary only" — both options carry equal weight and are available immediately.

Your choice is stored in the cookie_consent cookie. To change or withdraw it, delete the site's cookies in your browser settings — the notice will appear again.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because the service cannot run without them.

4. Categories of technology

• Strictly necessary — required for sign-in, security and the core service. These cannot be turned off.
• Functional (preferences) — remember your choices, such as the theme or dismissed hints. Set only by your action.
• Analytics and advertising — not currently used. If we add them in future, they will run only after your separate consent.

5. Cookies we use

All of the above are first-party — they belong to Orendly. We set no third-party tracking cookies.

6. Managing cookies

You can view, delete or block cookies and local-storage data at any time in your browser settings. Note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the service.

Instructions for popular browsers are usually found under "Privacy" or "Site settings".

7. “Do Not Track” signal

Because we do not track your activity across other sites and use no advertising cookies, your browser's "Do Not Track" signal does not change our behaviour — we do not perform such tracking in any case.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy, for example if we add new technologies. The current version is always available on this page with its update date. We will announce material changes within the service.
